I have a Dwyer Original that Dave built for me about 8 yrs ago. It's a beautiful bow and a great shooter. It's 66" and 44lb @ 28.

I’ve been shooting a “Dwyer Defiant “ for close to 20 years now, absolutely WONDERFUL Bow! Zero stack with a 29” draw and quiet as a mouse fart! I’m keeping my eye out for an “Endeavor” around 40-45# to come up for sale but so far no luck.

I have a Dwyer original 64in 45lbs. When I want to shoot a longbow that's the one I grab the most. Excellent bows.

I would love to find a Dwyer Dauntless between 35-40lbs @ 28”. Rh If anybody knows of one for sale please let me know ??. I need light weight because of shoulder issues. Thank you

Fine shooting bow made by a great guy. I traded for this Original and never regretted it.

Dave and Sue talked me into giving 3D shoots a try. Cory built my first longbow for himself then Dave sold it to me. A very nice family that could use some prayers if possible.

Does the endeavor shoot different from original being different design

Longboweric,

Yes, very much so. Although I prefer the Original I think that the Endeavor is Dave’s best “shooter”. Faster, less of a thump on release and at 58” is as smooth as a 66” original. It really comes down to preference.

Here are my current Originals. The epitome of functional art. The ONLY thing they lack is Dave never made a takedown. Wild horse creek destiny has a similar design that I wouldn’t mind trying just for the takedown feature. Miles in the dark on horseback with two 66” bows tucked under the stirrup isn’t easy.

Wow Mike, those are 4 very nice looking bows. Mine would also look good next to those. Mine has a rosewood riser with speckled gray elm limb veneers.

Thank you Mike. Wouldn’t mind seeing a pic of yours.

I’ve own models of all his bows. I have an Endeavor at present time. It’s a solid little bow. If you want one and can find it, buy it with confidence. Excellent craftsmanship and cast.

I have one of each of his models( 47-49#) and all are great shooters, smooth, no hand shock and classy looking. wish his was making bows again.
