Has anyone else had trouble getting a hold of someone at The Footed Shaft. Keep getting answering machine when calling and no response to emails? I understand they possibly are on vacation but the recording says they will get to you in a day.

This doesn’t sound good for me. I put in a order Feb 1st online and haven’t heard from them since they ran my cc and said they received my order.

I ordered from them on Feb 29. Same thing, email confirmation, won't answer phone messages or emails. I have been ordering from them since Lamont owned it. A simple email stating when they would ship would be nice. This was the last time. I plan on calling my credit card company to see if I can block the transaction.

I go back to Lamont too, but would like to give Terry and family an A+ for the years they had the Footed Shaft. Miss the trailer at the Rapids Shoot every year when I would stock up and save on shipping! Have no experience with new people?

I never heard from them about issues with my last order end of last summer. I received a smaller, less cost item than I ordered and had three items missing from a tear in the bottom carton tape. After a long ordeal with my cc company I got the $101 credit and donated the wrong item received to an archery club for a fundraiser auction. I had ordered over $300 on multiple orders last year and also stayed with them after they bought it. On a previous order I received a dozen nocks for 100 ordered but they did correct it. Obviously never again.

Had a decent experience with the owners after Lamont, but don't really need anything now. @12 dozen wooden shafts waiting on me. Plus, the aluminum laying around. And the carbons.

What a shame. Both Lamont and Terry and his wife ran a great business. You have to wonder why people who don't have "a clue" how to run a business buy one in the first place.

By comparison I reordered my field points on ebay this morning from Arrowdude (Wapiti Archery). They were shipped by noon. I was a Footed Shaft regular customer since 1997, spent much money there over those years. Never Again.

Wapiti Archery is great to deal with.. Not as much selection though but they are on the ball and get the orders shipped quite fast..I've bought from them mostly in the last couple years..

So on March 7 I emailed and left a phone message to cancel my order. Today March 18th I received an email from them that they had issued a refund for the order. So everything is in slow motion, but they did the right thing. I am done with using them though.
