What are you looking for specifically? In my mind, a stave isn't a kit. Know what I mean? What kind of bow are you looking to make?

Thank you, I'm new to this and I was looking to make an Osage self bow

Ok I understand. So you just want to look for an osage stave, not a kit. A nice straight stave about 1.75 to 2" wide, 2" deep and 68" long or more will be adequate for most style selfbows.

Sorry but i can't answer your original question. I haven't bought an osage stave in years. 3rivers and Mike Yancey at Pine Hollow Longbows sell them, but they're not cheap.

What Jeff said. Good quality osage prices have gone up quite a bit. Kustom King also advertises they have high quality staves. Good luck.

Ebay has them. Not cheap anymore.

To rich for my blood. No doubt Osage is the king of the self bow woods, but their are other woods that can make a nice bow if money is an issue.

Jon War Hammer on Facebook, I’ve bought several staves and blanks from him in person and online, always great to deal with and reasonable. If you have a particular character in the stave you’re looking for; snakey, clean or knotty just let him know

Hey critter, where in NY are you. I live in the Hudson Valley. I have a few hickory staves I cut spring 2022. If you are nearby I can give you one.
