I have the itch to try a 2 piece osage or yew selfbow. Can also be an all wood laminated bow.

I haven't had much luck searching for bowyers who offer this option so I turn to you guys to see what recommendations you might have.

Thanks! Pat

You won't find better than Weylin Olive at Swiftwood.

Yep, I agree! He makes some fantastic bows. Thanks! Keep the options coming please!

Runner X 2. Weylin is the only one that I know of making TD selfbows for sale. His would be the only work I'd even consider buying if I was in the market.

Pinnacle Bowmaking... JD Jones. Between JD and his OJam friends, there is a lot of talent, and they have great osage.

I have a few two piecers in my burn pile :)

Weylin builds a great bow. Just be prepared to spend 2k be it his or any others on interwebs.

I do think selfbows are way overpriced but if you pretty much have to spend a pile to get one you might as well make sure you get a good one for the price.

"Pearl Drums 2K for a self bow? NOT !"

Pearl is right. Check the selfbow prices from well known bowyers. $1,700 is the average for one piece.

I don't know if clay Hayes sells the bows he makes but he does 2 piece self bows .

I am seriously studying how to convert one piece to two. Mailing one piece is getting expensive. I will study long before sawing any of my bows in half though. If it takes more than two bows I am done. :^) >>>----> Ken

I get less than a $1000 for a one piece and they shoot as good if not better than any shined up bow. I have proof of that. It’s a hobby for me though. Try making a living selling bows cheap or you better be real good at killing game with it.???? ??
