When I went there last February the place wasn't open. It didn't look like it was in business.

Len is ususally at the annual TBOF shoot at Ocala. Someone from TBOF should be able to put you in contact with him.

Len passed away awhile ago. I bought a few bows off him over the years. He always treated me right.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I met him at the Sawmill shoot, and can't remember what year, late 90's I suppose. I talked to him for a while and ended up buying a used Bob Lee Hunter T/D from him. He usually had a lot of bows with him, and prices were reasonable as well.

Very sad to hear, I have good memories of them. I remember them giving my daughter a t shirt and we didn’t even buy a bow. Len always wheeling and dealing, he and his wife and dog traveled from shoot to shoot in there camper van if I recall correctly.

Dang! I lived in the Lakeland area 22 years ago and never knew this place existed. I bought my gear in Eustis. I never knew Len, but am sorry to hear he passed.

Sorry to hear he passed away. Len was a good fella, bit of a character. Sucks hearing of this. He had a very rare JD Berry ""Recurve"" listed for sale at one time. Couldn't believe it...had to call ole James to see if was true that he made such a thing...sure enuf.

I inquired several times about certain bows he had listed...as always, he had to leave the house and make his way to the shop out back...all the time asking me on these cellphones if I'm still there ..:)..yep. I could here the gravel crunching from his footsteps...ya still there? Yep!

I bought a recurve from the gentleman that I always wanted and at a steal of a price imo...hell, anybody's opinion. After the sale was confirmed, I had to ask Len....why such a price (well below what it should be)...he said it doesn't have the leather grip or rest. Oookay...

RIP Len.

Hate to hear this, he use to be at the shoots here in Alabama. Nice guy who always had a good collection of used bows.
