I haven’t been active on the wall for several years. When my Father , Flinger here on the wall had a massive stroke in 2011 I just lost interest. I remember traveling to Denton Hill several times meeting a lot of the “old schoolers” here. Dean Torges, the Ron and Jeff Vaught, Dave Mitchell. The list goes on. Even though dad could no longer hunt due to loosing his mobility a nd sight , I always enjoyed sharing my hunts with him over a cup of coffee. We’ll, my best friend and hero passed away on the 21st, no more suffering. My heart hurts but it helps to know he is at peace now. If you ever met him , you didn’t forget him. Love you Dad.

I remember him too. I'm sorry for your loss, Jason. He's with you in the ways that really matter. My dad's been gone 14 years, honestly seems like last week that I talked to him and I see, feel, and hear him in me sometimes clear as day and it makes me smile. I wish you peace with your father's passing, and enjoy those good memories while they're vivid. All we can do now is be the men they wanted us to be. You have my condolences.
