A lot of people liked seeing this bow in another forum, so I thought I'd share it here. I got this 1970 Browning Medallion recently. 35# 64". Very smooth to 29" and shoots great. I never saw tigerwood like this. Pics here don't show that well so imagine it looking even better.

This bow is 1 piece of wood.
I put on a green glazed beaver tail leather plate and a feather rest I colored green.

That is one gorgeous bow, Shandor. Striking grain in the riser. Bet she's a nice shooting bow, too.

I have some 1962 and 63 Browning Olympians which are awesome bows. Probably made by Gordon Plastics for Browning after Browning acquired them, but before they were making their own bows. I thought the later Browning bows might not be as good as those made by Gordon. Nope. Not this one at least. It's just as good a shooter as the 62 Olympians.

I've got a 43lb Medallion that is one of my favorite bows.
But it isn't that pretty.

Medallion was my first bow. Still have it, always go back to it. I am actively seeking one in over 40# draw.

That is Gorgeous! I never was around many browning bows, only a wasp I remember, but not mine. Nothing catches my eyes like the bows and flyrods of the 60's into the 80's! Love everything about it, and would the early 60's Grizxly in Tigerwood!

Thanks for all the comments. I'm glad to see some others appreciate shooting a Medallion also. For those who want one, I hope you find it. This bow was a buy it now on eBay. Pretty cheap also. Keep your eyes out... or ask on this forum if anyone has one. Asking can work.

I have a 64" Medallion 38# in Zebra wood, it's a smooth shooter. I like your idea with the feather rest.

Beautiful bow, back when the finish on a bow was done with pride. Browning bows and Browning gun stocks were the standard others were judged by. Enjoy your bow.

That is one unusual and beautiful bow. Bet it is a tack driver.
I had a rosewood handled Medallion a few years back and I just couldn’t miss with that bow. Sold it because of its 64” length gave me problems shooting it from ground hunting chair, no longer can climb trees. I constantly was hitting the bottom limb. But that bow shot like no other before or since.
Enjoy!

I recently purchased a Medallion from a Leatherwall member. It is a 35lber. also. Turns out it is one of the nicest shooting recurves i have ever owned and a real beauty too.

I will join the chorus; I have a 55# Medallion that has always been a point-and-shoot bow for me. It seems to be on-target even when I have a sloppy release!
That said--in no way does the wood grain in it compare to that one-of-a-kind bow of Shandor's. In fact I've only seen a couple of tiger maple Zippers that even come close to it...I think joevt might be the guy who posted them.

Glad you have one in your collection, Kerry. B/c as we all know, if you didn't already have one you wouldn't get getting one, since you're not getting any more bows. And yeah, mine is like that too. It just shoots where I want it too even if I don't do my part.
JoeVt has some gorgeous bows!

That's true; the arsenal of New Bowmania has filled the Armory to overflowing, and no new bows will be allowed to cross my borders...other than those subject to the recent "Ross Exemption" that my puppet council had the good sense to pass last week.
