About a year or a year and a few months ago I was surfing the big auction site for used bows and I came across this 1997 Bear Super Kodiak (pictured). The seller had a make an offer option so I told my wife I was going to bid $125.00 even though I know the seller isn't going to accept my offer. To my surprise the seller accepted my offer. The seller told me there were some light scratches on the limbs but nothing big. When I got the bow and looked it over it was exactly as the seller said it was. At first I was just going to sand down the bow and refinish it but I figured I'd wait and figure out what I wanted to do at a later date. 10 months later ("LOL") I was thinking of just camo painting the bow myself but after thinking about it and knowing my painting skills are not the greatest I decided to get it camo dipped. After looking at all the camo patterns I decided I wanted to go with a old school camo pattern, either old school Mossyoak or the Fred Bear Frog Skin camo. Now my search begun to find someone to camo dip my bow. As luck would have it after surfing the internet I found a woman who does camo dipping five miles from my house.

Here is the BEFORE picture of my 1997 Bear Super Kodiak.

I was never a fan of the modern SK look with the vertical lamination - but your new camo paint job looks fantastic!

That looks cool.

So how does it shoot compared to the old ones and your B handled TD’s?

Kelly I haven't set-up or shot that bow yet. If it shoots like my other two Super Kodiaks, I'll be happy with it.

I had some of that original mossy oak camo back in the 80's...Bottomland I think it was called.

Bow looks great with it! You got lucky all over the place with that bow bud.
