I am going to get my 4 grandsons new bows next year. Was thinking about taking them to ETAR so they could try out different ones and buy them there. Is this a good idea?

Yes it is. There is probably more variety to see and shoot than anywhere else.

Depends on their ages I didn't see much this year for younger kids, not like in years past.

I see that you're from Michigan, I would also go to the Compton rendezvous in Berrien Springs in June. Lots of bowyers there too.

If you’re from Michigan check out St Joe River bows, they make them for all ages.

Kalamazoo Michigan has a big trad bow show at the expo center in late January it’s inside and there is usually lots of vendors so you would be able to shoot lots of new and use bows at there inside bow range

There really wasn't much there in the way of youth bows this year. I had my 11 year old daughter with me this year, was hoping to have her try a few options and leave with a new (or new to her) bow. Went away empty handed.

St Joe River bows are awesome, Yellowstone Longbows makes a youth bow also, Maddog makes one too. All of these would probably be good and I am sure there are more. good luck

Yeah Fall Gray, I'm heading up to K-Zoo in the morning to visit Marine / Vietnam buddy and will be at GLLI Friday. My son, got there yesterday and my brother and his son with some of the grand kids will be there Friday. Should be some kids bows in camp.
