Good afternoon FS Shooters. This is not my first shot. First shot was earlier this morning at a 3D shoot over in Illinois. Got home. Took a nap. Wanted to get back out and run my longbow through my chronograph, just to see if it was keeping up with my other longbows I've built. And it is. The shot was from 5 yards. Trying to get as close as I could. And this was my first shot at 5yrds after running it through the chronograph.Now time to relax for the rest of the night. Tomorrow's a new day. Three from 30, seems to be the consensus yardage. First two close to the pine cone but dropped the third shot. Cedar shaft arrows and 68” Border LB.

Well I just fallowed along.dumped 5 from 30 one a bare shaft. There's always one, or in this case #4 that slipped out. Used my Striker Fastback today. I won't be doing much shooting for a while. Going in for back surgery on the 18th. Safe and happy shooting, shooters. And have a happy Independence Day weekend!

Stood a dozen yards from the target but drew and aimed at about six objects around my yard, holding a few seconds then letting down to move to the next aim point, the last one being the pine cone target and a loose arrow. Still letting those cedar arrows and the Border longbow have their way with me.
