Sorry I don’t know how to post pictures, But I got my New Hummingbird 1 piece Longbow a couple of days ago and I Love it. I got the new James Parker, top of the line Kingfisher, 64” and 40 #. Dark Red Cocobolo with a good sized piece of black G 10 in between the Cocobolo on the riser. Not sure what is on the limbs but the Bow looks great. Not sure of the prices of all the other bows , this one was the price of a entry level Black Widow and only took about 7 weeks from when I ordered it at the Tennessee Classic. It shoots just like my 11 year old Right handed Hummingbird that Ben built me in 2011. But beings I had to switch to shooting left handed because of my detached retina I had James build me a new one. If you need a new Hummingbird, James can take care of you. I’m very happy with mine. Kurt

Thanks. To Dry Bones for posting the pictures. Jim I don’t know about the 5 years younger but I am very glad that I can still shoot after having to switch to shooting left handed. Drop time or anyone else that might be interested in contacting James can go to www.huntworthyproductions.com. and click on Hummingbird bows.

Droptine, Ben Graham, the original designer and bowyer of Hummingbird bows, past away a few years back. James Parker is the new bowyer producing the bows now. His website is huntworthyproductions.com

Grant some of the fellas might be a little disappointed, thinking that maybe they would be able to out shoot me beings I had to switch to shooting left handed. I’m already shooting about as good as before. Can’t wait for Elm Hall.

Fine looking bow.

Just came from a local event where the James Parker family was displaying the new Hummingbirds. They look great. I shot one of them and it met my expectations. It looks like the line of bows that Ben Graham developed will continue.

Linda Graham was there also working with the kids, and adult beginners. She had one of Ben's original bows with her. that happened to be exactly what I wanted. Finally, a bow that I've wanted for awhile, is now in my possession, and will probably be with me until the Good lord calls. I have often said that of the best 10 shooting bows that I have shot, about 6 or 7 of them were Hummingbirds. Thanks to Linda, I have one again.

From: BigStriper1

Yea Pappy I guess I picked up on shooting left handed a little easier than I expected, and the new bow is pretty. I guess James did a good job on my new Hummingbird, I’m sure liking it. Looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the guys at Elm Hall, maybe you can bring yours and we can try em out. Kurt

Ben Graham was the original owner of Hummingbird Bows, Ben passed away November 1st 2016. James Parker is now the new owner of Hummingbird Bows and his website is www.huntworthyproductions.com then click on Hummingbird Bows. I really like my new Hummingbird longbow and it shoots real good just as long as I do my part. Haha. Kurt

What happened to Linda Graham ?

From: BigStriper1
Date: 29-Jun-22

I talked with Linda recently and she said she is still making strings for bows and go’s to local shoots and is trying to help coach shooters on the right way to shoot a bow. Linda is a special friend and I wish her well. Kurt

The Bow is working real well, I just got to get a little more used to shooting left handed and that’s getting better all the time. Really liking the new Hummingbird, just need some more 3D shoots to go to so I can be ready for hunting season. Kurt

Kurt, you are right. You just don't see these bows up for resale. i have been looking for about 2 years for a 35-40# Hummingbird, to replace one that I sold to a friend. Finally I found one on Linda Graham's table and was able to work out a deal. I had to promise not to sell it. but then I had no plans to do so. Now I'm Hummingbirded again. Isn't life great?

Very nice Bows, Ben told me long ago Hummingbird’s are tasty , You just can’t get enough of them

From: BigStriper1
Date: 04-Jul-22

You’re right Wayne, a guy just can’t get enough. I’ve got 3 of them , can’t shoot 2 of them because I had to switch to shooting left handed. But I’d take a couple more, love them and have very good luck with them. They are my all time favorite. Kurt

From: 2FLETCH
Date: 04-Jul-22

Kurt, are you going to keep the two right hand bows? If not, what are the poundages? I'm still looking for a light poundage bow of around 35#, for next year, or the year after.

From: BigStriper1
Date: 05-Jul-22

Don, I will never sell the 2 right hand Hummingbird Longbows, they will go to my son. He also has a 62” -46# Hummingbird Kingfisher recurve. One of my right hand bows was built for me by Ben in 2011, 1 piece dark brown Cocobolo 64”-40#, I won the SLB Senior Longbow class at the IBO traditional world championship last year 2021 about 2 weeks before my detached retina with that bow. And the other Hummingbird 63”-45# 3 piece Red Cocobolo riser was Ben’s personal Bow when he passed in 2016( Ben’s new baby doll ) that was gifted to me in 2020 by Linda. Ben was a special friend. 01Archer86 Jeff and many others, thanks for all the compliments on my bow. I’m really loving it and shooting it pretty well when I do what I should. Jeff I miss seeing you at the local shoots, I hope everything goes well with you working with Big Jim. Kurt

The new Hummingbird Longbow seems to be on par with the one that Ben built for me in 2011. I’m loving it and glad I could get a New one in Left handed that feels and shoots just like my 2011 right handed bow. Don’t be afraid to call James and have him build you a new Hummingbird, I’m pretty sure you’ll like it. Kurt

Thanks Randy, and others for the compliments. I think when more people see the Bows that James is making and realize they are the quality of the bows that Ben use to make he will do fine. My New left handed Longbow that James made feels and shoots just as good as the one Ben made me in 2011. Kurt
