I recently found a Bear Cub straight limb bow with standing bear decal and patent dates below the bear. It has a double shelf for either right or left hand shooting. The backing is black glass and the facing is very light green. It's 62", 49#. Any idea of date of manufacture? What string length? Thanks.

Correction, it's actually a semi-recurve and the facing appears to be gray glass.

A few pictures would be very helpful.

My guess would be 1954. With straight limbs and standing Bear decal.
