ShadowFox which happens to be my younger brother. I’d like your guys opinion on this. My Brother served in the Marines. When he came home he didn’t have his KABAR. So I got this Idea. I traded somedude for a KABAR and I made my brother this display for his KABAR. Think he will like it? Thanks again Del for the trade.

Dang it.It was my Birthday.I thought someone built me something and when I saw that knife display I thought what a great Birthday I am having this year.How lucky could I be :).Not that lucky.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone! I gotta tell ya, I really don’t think I know a more thoughtful gift giver than my brother. Most of the time it something he spent a lot of time making, something he traded for, or an old treasure he found antiquing, heck sometimes it’s all three! I gotta tell ya, the real treasure though is having a thoughtful and amazing brother. Much of the reason i’m interested in hunting and fishing in the first place is because of him, and he was there for my first deer with the shotgun and the bow! The doe I got with the bow is a great story for another time. I would probably say he was also an influence to why I joined the military. I probably would have joined the Navy, but the Marine recruiter told me I would get more girls wearing the Marine dress blues. haha. Eventually I wrote a letter to my recruiter asking where all the girls were, because being in the infantry, all I saw was the field! Nothing but digging fighting holes, forced marches, eating cold MRE’s, and falling asleep in a shelter half next to another Marine who was usually ripping MRE farts all night. Come to think of it, that sounds a lot like camping with my brother Don! He also taught me at a very young age that it’s not always about how many fish you catch, or deer you shoot, it’s about the memories you make and being out there enjoying nature. Anyway, I could go on and on. Thanks for this awesome gift, Don! I have just the spot for it!! Love ya! Tom “Shadowfox”
