I just read a fellow Leatherwaller’s comments that Ron LaClair recently passed away. The news saddened me. Rev Stacy Groscup crossed paths with him decades ago and told me about him. Later on when I performed at at ETAR I got to meet Ron after one of my shows. He recited a poem and that made my weekend. What a renaissance man. Amazing man. He even signed one of his arrows and left it for me. I was busy talking to people and he left it near my truck. I later found it. That was Ron. Quiet and humble and kind.

I never got to see his show when he was doing exhibitions. That saddens me. Stacy did.

Anyway, so long kind soul. You were a good one and I pray for your family and close friends that they find comfort with their memories of a life well lived. As my amigo Jawge says, “May his memory be eternal”. Indeed Jawge. Indeed.

Ron & I used to debate broadheads. He autographed a couple and sent them to me. One comercial & one he altered. He is missed. His poetry & photography were beautiful. >>>>-----> Ken

That would have been special to see Ron and Stacy perform together.

That was my show at Denton Hill - sometime around 2010-2012? Jawge do you recall the date ?!? It was my only appearance there. I heard they moved locations since then. Mike and his family were nice people.
