From 2019 elk hunt in Colorado. I found out why they are called the Rocky Mountains. I took a spill and Smoke has some battle scarces to prove it.

That Bob Lee is the sweetest smoothest thing. I don't know why they quit making the one piece. Economics I guess. >>>----> Ken

Everyone remember the good ol days...like just 10-12years ago when a Bob Lee could be had for around 400.00 on the used market? They sure have done a good job in remediating that depreciation.

Here's one from the old and one from the new...top bow is a 1962 Presentation; the bottom bow is a 2015 Exotic. The problem is that the new bow was the right draw weight, but the top bow was the prettier one. I sold the Exotic to finance my first elk trip to Colorado--a move I don't regret; even though it was a wonderful bow.

That takedown riser is a lot like my one piece above. Have you seen or tried the newer takedown system? I like it a lot better than bolts but new bows are so expensive. >>>----> Ken

Don't believe I ever saw a solid yellow arrow. They show up very well. >>>---> Ken

And you have a passel of them with beautiful knapped points too. They should be easy to track, easy to find & really show up blood. Can you test fire them with those points? >>>----> Ken

I am very curious as well. Do those tied on tips hold up well?

Shot everyone of them into a foam target, they are epoxy and sinew tied, they will not come off unless the shaft is broken.shoot very well

Great looking arrows! 2 bears(Ken), I like your one pc bow.

Thanks Car54, it is a beauty. Thanks sagebrush. I always wondered if you could test arrows with knapped heads. Always wanted to take a deer with knapped head but I won't hunt with an arrow I haven't made sure shoots with the others.

I have test fired my stone heads into hay bale,,,I think they might need to be touched up a bit if you do that,, to keep the original sharpness

Not sure how a bow so aesthetically unappealing can shoot so well... but they really have got their bows dialed in. Smooth, quiet and fast...

Wings have always been better looking, and performing, than most of the other bows out there.

I think the one piece Elite that I pictured above is beautiful. Someone else thought so too. I have 2 Wing Slim line Pros that have beautiful curves. I have always liked the looks of Lee's bows. It doesn't seem like they are using as pretty woods in the newer models though, Maybe you can special order them. >>>----> Ken

My 58" 52# Hunter Pro by Bob Lee. I have had this sweet little bow for 13 or so years and it is still one of my favorites.
