Maynard yes I have. If I was relegated to use one broadhead the rest of my life, it would be the Zwickey Black Diamond Delta 4 Blade . This broadhead have never let me down. Here are a few pics of some deer that I have taken them with.

I use them. Have over the last 40+ years. Sometimes I try others but, keep coming back.

I don’t think Tony is really giving them a fair test… Looks like everything he shoots, he hits in exactly the same spot, so what kind of a test of durability/effectiveness is THAT?

LOL

Me, you can spend a lot more money for a broadhead, but you can not buy a better broadhead.

They are an excellent broadhead.

Dang Tony, great shooting ! I have killed quite a bit of critters with the 4 blade zwickey but I have a hard time getting them as sharp as I’d like due to the bleeder interfering with my file , so I usually just get frustrated and grind the bleeder off and going with a 2 blade that I’m happy with the sharpness of. But I have no doubt the 4 blade would be the better head. I love zwickey broadheads.

When I use Zwickey, I usually use a 2 blade Zwickey Eskimo or Deltas. But my two trips to New Brunswick, Canada for black bears I used 4 blade Deltas. Both black bears I killed were pass through double lung shots with the bears going less than 70 yards.

I started shooting in the 60's Bought swickey deltas and my first "kill" was a big ol' buck jack- rabbit. I've used them most ever since. Ma3's were also in the picture. But, the deltas are my go to broadhead. I haven't found anything better....R

Though I sometimes shoot other heads, I've shot 4-blade Deltas for a long, long time. The bleeders are relatively small, making them almost like a two-blade head. Regardless, I've always found them to fly very true and to give excellent penetration.

I used the 2 blade Deltas and killed quite a few critters. Fly well. Easy to sharpen.

I use a 3/8th’s triangle file and a Rada, super sharp. Great heads.

I agree Corax. Anyone can kill em with all heart and lung shots. I believe Ole Tony could kill em with an old schick razor blade duct taped to a stick

Hey Snuffer, what is your technique for getting them sharp? I ground off the bleeders on one of mine just last night out of frustration in getting them sharp due to the bleeders. Great heads otherwise. Any wisdom is appreciated!

I never cared too much for the 4 blade. Difficult to sharpen. The delta as a two blade is plenty wicked.

I have several arrows tipped with them in my hunting quivers.

This may be a dumb question but do you guys that use them sharpen them some how... not talking about the main blades but the bleeders? just looks like metal sticking up, but these pictures look like you get a better entrance wound than on my 2 bladed zwicky kills. Thanks

I usually shoot 4 blade eskimos, but for you guys that are asking how to sharpen them, that's the same. Mount the head on your arrow, Then holding it so the broadhead is facing you, take your file and filing from the ferrule of the head to the top of the bleeder blade with even I'd day medium weight strokes. About 6 or until you can see them bevel formed evenly, at this point you should be able to feel a burr on the non sharpened side, so then file the burr off and it should have an edge. Then with lighter and lighter file strokes alternating sides, it should be very sharp. So be careful with your fingers!! This is how i do it, the trick is to practice at it and dont give up, ill see about posting some pictures later. On a separate thread, i don't want to hijack this one. Good luck

Sharpen the bleeders with small, fine tooth file front to back!! that's it easy! think I got the file from Black Widow, if memory serves?!

I grind them off

From: ottertails

Grizbow splained it well. Proper sized file is all you need. So easy! Grinding them off...well, whatever suits you but so unnecessary.

From: Grizbow

Thanks Joe, I think the biggest problem folks have is keeping a consistent angle while sharpening
