I had a Dr. appointment this morning and when I got in the examining room the girl who checked all my vitals is a friend of ours . She said I have something for you and handed me a diabetes strip container .Last year I made her husband a decorative milk weed carrier using one and he absolutely loved it and used it on a bear hunt. So after my visit there and finding out I have “Shingles” I came home and made another one . So I used an empty diabetes container and dressed it up to carry milkweed.I used some more of that scrap leather I was given if any of you followed my other post about “ One mans scrap leather is another’s wrap” ? Here’s what I started with today.

Oh almost forgot to mention that I stamped some deer and Turkey tracks on the leather and put beads on that resemble a rattlesnake tail.

So after this string keeper I made from that scrap leather I remembered I had some leather drink containers that a friend was throwing away and asked if I wanted them? They were brand new in packages and he gave me about 150 of them. So I cut and made another string keeper and steamed the leather.

Great job. Love the touch the beads add. They look like snake rattles. You might consider adding a loop to the MilkWeed dispenser so it can be slipped on a belt, pack strap, or whatever. >>>----> Ken
