Best of skill JakeBrake and TK. Been a tough go of it for me here in Mn. but been having fun filming. Just been so darn cold. Others in the area have been tagging them, but my skill level probably isn’t up to theirs. Frustrating and fun at the same time. Getting them in close enough for a shot with a bow and arrow is quite a challenge. I know you guys are up to the task. Keep us updated on your progress. Nice pics JB.

I am going to have to start getting into this game. I see turkeys often on my way to my cabin. Looks like it would be a blast. I have taken one bird but not with a bow.

JakeBrake, nice shooting, you might want to put the arrow straight up from his legs. Too far forward and all you get is Breast.

Well…lost patience for a the big guy and shot this Jake this evening…ambush them on their daily route
Shot was about 10 yds
Switched bows…
Wengerd Tahr 2 piece longbow 60” 50@28
Full length 400 with 100 grain insert and 125 Del-Mar broadhead
And Mr. Tell…my arrow passed thru about 1 inch low and 1 inch left of where the arrow is in my last photo…and this guy made it 12 yds from the shot…That shot placement has done me well I’ve the years…but yes…straight above the legs works well to
