Whats a Fair Price for a dozen Goldtip Trad Blem 400 Arrows, Any worries about Blem Arrows to look for?

Goldtip blems are just blems in the finish. They are structurally fine. 3Rivers sells them for $79.99 a dozen, nocks and inserts included. Any price lower than that would be a good deal if you can find it. The graphics can be cleaned off the shafts with acetone and green scrub pad and you can't tell them from any other shafts.

Last I saw on EBay was $62 a dozen

The older Blems were 5/16 The new ones are 9/32 , hard to find a heavy point in 9/32.

The only carbons I have ever shot are GT blems. Never a problem with anything about them. It's cosmetic only.

5/16 points work just peachy on 9/32 shafts if you need heavier ones.

And you can always find points with a taper on the back end, so that they will match up better with a thinner shaft.

I pretty much shoot whatever I can get my hands on, and I guess I’m just not good enough to notice any appreciable difference from one shaft to the next. Certainly nothing wrong with the GTs, and they are a good diameter for footing with aluminum.

I’ll tell ya I’m a wood guy but recently tried some gold tip blems. Primarily to set up a wet weather bow. Not that I actually find it that important I need to kill a deer that I sit in the rain anymore, but I did it just the same. The shafts are fantastic. I’d def recommend them. Don’t hesitate one bit. I may actually set my girls bow up for them. She’s also been shooting cedar. I’m personally not switching but I will say they’re nice to shoot.

If I remember right I bought them from Big Jim for around $50.00 a dozen back a few years ago.

I’ve been using them for 2 or 3 years now and the “Blemish” is entirely cosmetic. Usually it isn’t in the least obvious either. I’ve gotten them off EBay always and at about $62 a dozen with free shipping. Cotton
