Thought that I would post some pictures of my trade point build. I started with some old saw blades. Painted them with a light coat of paint so I could scratch it to mark it.

Took a lot of time, but worth the effort.

Took my time and ground them all the same, then ground an edge on them slowly as not to heat it up very much.

Them polished and painted them. I weighed each one after they were ground. My goal was a 200gn head. I sharpened them and then slowly removed metal from the base and around the shank. They are all within a couple of grains. Very pleased with the outcome.

Kunzie, If they are good steel 55 or a little over RC I would replace any head on the market with one of those. IMO They are just what a good head needs to be . >>>----> Ken
