Have always used Duco over poly. Doing some now as matter of fact.

Gorilla superglue. I've not had any issues using it to date. And my wood shafts have been shot in the rain and been lost in the yard for days and even after heavy rain feathers still held tight. Did have to steam them to get back to shape but they stuck and shaft did not gain any moisture weight. I put it on the scale worried it soaked up a bunch of water but the poly sealed it tight?

I remember years ago having NPV fail on one of my finishes. Don't remember which one anymore. Have never had a problem with any finish when using DUCO for many years.

I have used both for years on poly finish without any issues. I prefer NVP as it does not get brittle.

I was taught Ducco on non fletch laq finishes. But times have changed and so have our choices of finishes, water or chemical. That said I haven’t had any issues with either NPV or Ducco. But, I live in a desert environment where rain is not an issue, just bugs that eat the feathers.
