I watched a good video last night. Ryan Gill of Hunt Primitive showed how to make an arrow with stone age tools. Building a fire by friction, straightening hardwood shafts, scraping with stone scrapers, fletching and cutting notches with stone.
Something I never knew was that stone points had a small V in the base so they would fit the V in the notch that is naturally left by cutting the notch with stone.
He does not show the stone knapping because he has another video all about that. He has a business making Primitive archery tackle for sale and also hunting with it.
He also kills a Bison with an atlatl and a bow.
