I went on a leather wall rabbit hunt this morning. I say Leatherwall Hunt because of all the items I had with me that I bought or traded for with guys on the site.

The 59 Kodiak that 2 bears just refinished

The RiverWolf quiver

The sage brush hatchet

The Strickland broad heads I traded from somebody I can’t remember

The skunk hat from a Minnesota trapper on Bowsite

The wool coat in a trade I can’t remember

I jumped 4 bunnies that I had no shot. this guy gave me a sitting frontal and I hit him square in a chest

Seems to be a lot of bunnies for having two great horned owls camped out over me all fall

I’ll switch to stump shooting now because one bunny is all i need. Need to leave some for another day

Sounds like a great hunt, with a lot of Leatherwall good karma in tow!!

I left out D31, Dan. I initially traded the 59 from him so add Dan to the list of attendees

That is pretty Neat hunt Jay ;) I sure wish we had a better number of bunnies this way . I will be going after the elusive few after this coming storm I hope ;) Those owls and hawks have a pretty good natural balance going on with rabbits .....speed/reflexes/habitate being great equalizers ;)

Hawks-owls-foxes-yotes eat way more moles-voles-mice than bunnies ...

Thanks for taking me along Jay !! I'm honored to have been a small part my friend........Congratulations on the hunt !

That’s cool Jay. I’ve been hunting with a bunch of my buddies that way to. Good Karma

Shot a few stumps and trees on the way in instead of shooting at and potentially killing more rabbits.

I love me some fried rabbit, but we don't have the populations here we used to have. They are about though, and right now it's snowing....so maybe.

That looks good Jay! Spent a good 25 years chasing them with beagles. Not many around here now.

We have plenty of rabbit around here. I should try for a couple before the season is over.

If we had cottontail I'd hunt 'em. I like them way better than squirrel and even better than pheasant.

I was half expecting a blooded eagle head club in the pic!
