How do they look? Clones of each other like mass produced bows?

They look like a Shrew bow ?????

Sure would like one of those mass produced bows.

If you buy a custom bow how many made when they are considered mass produced.

Shrew bows are made one at a time but models are replicated as to wood combinations. You can order a custom Shrew bow from Shrew Bows versus stock bows carried by Kustom King. You can order your wood combinations and length/draw weight when you contact Shrew Bows directly.

Thanks, what I was getting at is do all the stock bows look similar with not much character due to the dyed woods & veneers used.

Well....probably. But every piece of wood has different characteristics. I don't think they have veneers, only the core woods.

Kinda reminiscent of how the old companies did it eh? That's nostalgia my friend. :) There will always be subtle differences though if you look for them, and that is what made it interesting as well. No two are exactly alike. Veneers just add money to the cost and an extra two layers of glue.

All Shrew bows have a bamboo core. A variety of outer veneer's are available on stock bows as well as custom ordered bows.

Thank you Mr. LaClair

Build quality is excellent, on par with any top custom maker. They are smooth and shoot very nice.

They ARE Shrew bows, Tim Cosgrove was previous owner of Kustom King and now part owner of Shrew. If/ When Kustom King has Shrew bows in stock it is the EXACT same stock as Shrew bow site. I have bought 2 shrews from Tim just before he sold K.K.

Don't worry they never have any in stock, but good luck
