For those that are unaware, Shrew Bows has new owners. Tim Cosgrove and Henry Bodnik are the new owners of Shrew bows. I'll be staying on as an advisor. You can get to a list of bows in stock at shrewbows.com. To order a bow [email protected]. If you have any questions for me I'm at [email protected]

Tim has sold his Kustom King Archery business to Ned Miller who will continue to sell products from the business.

I stopped at the Cosgrove's on my way through yesterday,...Here's Tim and I in front of some Shrew stock bows.

I first met Tim in 1980 at the Howard Hill shoot in Alabama. We've been friends for 40 years, he is a man of integrity and I can think of no one I can trust more than him to carry on the Shrew name. I've only known Henry Bodnik for two years but I know him to be very knowledgeable in the bowyers craft an as honest as the day is long

I am confident that these two men will continue to produce the best bows available for the discriminating bow hunter

Ron, congrats to all parties. I can not imagine it was an easy decision for either you or Tim after being point men for your business all these years. As for Tim, if my recent experience with Ned is anything like Kustom Kings future it’s in great hands. I know I will be ordering from KK in the future.

The Shrew bow has been around for a while and I'm sure it will be for some time to come, it says a lot about the bow.

I’ve watched all of this evolve first hand for the last 30 years. Ron’s not gone by any means and Tim/Henry have worked with him tirelessly for the last two years getting this transition in place. Henry’s passion for traditional archery is second to none and Tim and Ron have been friends and camp mates for eons. Here’s a picture from approximately 25 years ago that was taken in camp at our daily practice session. Ron was instructing us then, just as he still does today.

Tell me Ron, on the Classic Hunter II, Is the handle the same length on the 52', 54', and 56' bows? Or does it get longer as the length increases?

Thanks, Kelly

I’ve never owned one but shot one of the little sweethearts at Kazoo back about 2007 because at least Ron had a LH for me to try! Cool to see the tradition carrying on.
