I would like to thank everyone that responed to my first post about Ed's Bow. I have no idea who responed or what was said as by the time I got on the Leathrwll that night the tread was closed. There was 22 post to that tread before it closed and they must have had a few things to say as Dave did send a bow to Ed.

I said I would post if Ee did get a bow on the Leatherwall and TradGand and I have. As far as the condition of the bow we are not sure as Ed fractures his left foot below the toes. I can not get the bow down to him till Wednesday. Honestly both Ed and I are glad he received something and that this trouble is over.

I saw on TradGang they did ban SiegeWork Archery again and warned everyone to beware. Hopefully the moderator on Leatherwall will also take this action to protect the Traditional members on this site.

Well, its true, better late than never, but this constant nonesense that comes from Seige Work tells me all I would EVER want to know about it.

I'm very happy for Ed, sorry to hear about his health. Jim.

I can not say why the first post was closed becasue I never had a chance to read it. I do think the Moderator do a good job but sometime it is best to let things run its course for thoes to see the truth.

Sorry Buckwheaties I remember you from the old post of Tonto and you were still tring then to get a refund. I hope you do indeed get it someday but would not hold my breath. Tonto said he never got his quiver and dozen arrows from name that bow contest. Dave did post a tracking number but beleive it to be the tracking number of the bow he was forced to complete and send to Tonto. It has been my experience to beleive anyone over what Dave says. His track record is just too bad.

From: TONTO

Hey Tradman! I pm'd you. Oh, I never got any arrows or the quiver that Dave said I won for the name that bow contest. I figured out real quick that he never had any intentions of sending anything, as he only wanted to use the leatherwall to get free advertisement for one of his bows. He would not have ever sent the bow, except for the heat the great people on the Leatherwall put on him to do so. I am glad ED got a bow. I hope his is better than what Dave sent me!!! It is just horrible that people have to go through what many people have, just to get the bow that they paid for. I too would like to see Siegeworks banned like they did on the other website. But, I have a biased opinion! :) Get well ED. Also; Tradman, like I said before - if Ed got worked on this deal, I will send him one of my good bows to have, if he can use it. Noone should see their last years of hunting/shooting fall short due to not having a bow. FIS Tony

so your friend got his SW bow and you are asking LW mods to ban him? This aint tradgang, people get to disagree as long as its civil whether they are paying up or not.I dont know the SW guy and wouldnt buy a bow because of what I have seen but at least your friend got his bow.

From: Kent Alan
Date: 03-Nov-10

TONTO, if you're sending out bows, you can always send ME your Sentman...

From: BRohm0103
Date: 03-Nov-10

I look at this one as a different case because while yes we have 2 examples on here of people who did receive a bow, there are many many others who still have not received anything after payment. I think on the last thread there was someone who was still waiting after 1.5-2 years. I am all for disagreement and differing of opinions but when someone is scamming people something should be done. Maybe not banned from the site but maybe to ban any thread he posts regarding his bows in an attempt to advertise and loosing sponsor priviledges. Maybe limit access regular membership only. Especially after the previous threads were closed, how could someone new on here look back and find out past information on this guy?

From: TONTO
Date: 03-Nov-10

Hey Kent! I may have a bow or two I would part with under special circumstances; but my Sentman will hopefully always be in my bow rack!:) BRohmo0103: I agree with your views on the matter, good points.

traditionalman,

Let us know how the bow turned out. I've never seen 1 good review about Siegeworks bows or service.

Kent Alan, I have a Sentman with your name on it. It must have been yours originally.

From: traditionalman

BearBayer I'm not asking Leatherwall moderators to ban Siegework that would be their decision. I do think after 2 years of not getting work out and then the bows are not good, they would want to protect the membership. Why do membrs post about scams? To protect each other. Nothing Daves says is true and one lame excuss after another. In time the Mods will have to do something about this man or let their members be abused forever.

Ed did get his bow. There was no serving on the bowstring and no shelf material on the rest. No writting on the bow as to the AMO or draw weight. Top limb loads up strong much more then bottom limb. All in all it could be a kit bow from Bingmans. If a man has 25 plus years experience that his work should reflect that. Way too many bows delaminating, loosing tiller, bad finish, a quick half ass job.

If it was one or two men/women were complaning that would be a different story, but we are into the dozens of people who have been hurt by this Company. They all have the same story and all get the same treatment by Dave.

By the way the TradGand ban Siegework for his track record of complaints and non payment as a sponsor if I read that right.

From: tracy warren
Date: 04-Nov-10

hey man. nothing wrong with a kit bow from Binghams when in the right hands.

From: Pointer
Date: 04-Nov-10

LOL...I second that tracy...mine is plain but it shoots better than half the customs I own...Of course that has nothing to do with Siegeworks screwing people over and using this or any other site to help him in that endeavor...

just a quick post, If others had problems with Dave , sorry , I Have not, Imade a trade with him, sent my item first, had my trade in less than 2 weeks,It was I 62lb sidewinder i'am very glad that I made the trade, will I deal with him in the future yes i will .The man gave me his word and thats good enough for me.I hope that people learn to forgive becouse forgivness starts here(nelson mandella).

From: TONTO

I forgive when a person shows he has changed. Until then... forget it. Up until a day ago - nothing has changed! A spotted dog is a spotted dog, no matter how bad you wish it different.

I also was in Dav's cornor for a longtime. He is a very convincing person, but his track record tells the truth. You were lucky in your trade, took me 6 months to get mine. One man ststed he got his first bow in 2 months the first time and it took 15 months to get the second one.

I'm sure you will buy again and I'm sure you will get stuck like a pig. Daves rating on the BBB is now at a D-.

Everyone has the right to their own views and beleifs, but to be warned is to be fortold, when it happens you will find out.

Forgiveness and trust are separate issues. Forgiveness can be given, trust must be hard earned. Don't be deceived!

I agree this thread has run its course. Either you beleive this Company has cheated people and will again or you don't. Nothing we say will change the way they do business.

If there is any doubt in your mind order a bow and wait and see.

I did not see that SiegeWorks was banned on the other site. It wasn't listed among the scammers.

I'm a longtime traditional archer, but new to this site. Thought I was maybe the only one that got the "treatment" from Siegework Creations and our friend Dave. But, I see now that he has a huge fanclub. Thanks - I don't feel so special now.

From: Buckwheaties
Date: 21-Mar-11

You should have had the luck to have read the previous LONG thread about good old DAVE b4 you got "the treatment". He still owes me $ and has changed his e-mail. (dis-appeared) I hear he is now doing business on e-bay with his faire crap.? What a scam artiest.."watch the feet" is a truism. or "don't listen to what they say; watch what they do"...

This is an old thread. All the others got pulled.Siegeworks is no more.Dave started a new shop http://www.stickbowarchery.com it wont be long and we will be hearing more about this one.Beware.
