Gotta give a shout out to one of the coolest guys out there, James of JD Berry bows. He continues to make one of the lightest, most smooth shooting longbows on the market. I have had the pleasure of receiving three custom bows from him. One of which is my new Heritage Longbow. A true beauty and smooth as silk. I will attach a few pictures on here. If you haven’t bought a bow from James, give him a shout! Truly a fantastic guy and an incredible artist. The Heritage model is super cool with its ambidextrous, shelfless design. I Modified my grip just a bit to create a larger surface for my arrow. But man, you talk about quiet! Unreal shooting bow.

Absolutely stunning! I am an unashamed JD Berry Fanboy and have owned most of his models at one point or another, but I have not gotten a heritage as I was falling out of favor with ASL at the time he released it. I am down to one Berry . A 35ish year old taipain that has probably 250,000 or so shots through it and every time I shoot it I wonder when it will give up the ghost.

I keep telling myself I need a vixen in the stable but I’d like to sing some from the heritage. I know James loves them

The Heritage is one of the most unique bows that I have shot…. A bow that truly feels like a trip back in time….reminiscent of what I would think ( I’m old but not THAT old) longbows felt like in the 30s. Feel of a selfbow but with glass…

As for James, agreed he is a real legend… a true craftsman and a great guy
