Anyone have any info regarding motels and restaurants in the area ?

I make that shoot each year. Enid Lake doesn't have lodging or eating near the lake that I know of. A lot of folks camp at the lake though. There is one just a few hundred yards from the shoot sign up pavilion.

If you prefer a motel your best bet would be to get lodging in Batesville or Grenada; neither being to0 far from Enid Lake. Personally, I prefer Grenada but that's just because I know it better.

The next shoot at Enid is the Jerry Pierce Memorial on May 18 & 19. Google Southern Traditional Archery’s Facebook for more details. It’s always held at the Persimmon Hill landing and camp ground,

There's a fish restaurant near Persimmon Hill.

The fish place just across the interstate from the Persimmon Hill campground has a varied menu and a small salad bar. The food isn't bad, the service is good, the place looks run down but is clean inside.

The tournament hosts usually have breakfast and lunch (hamburgers and hot dogs) cooked at a modest price.

I am too old to go now but this was one of my favorite tournaments in the past.

Batesville is about 15 miles from the tournament site.

I will add that it is a great shoot. It’s always a lot of fun with a great course.

Hi Bill, We go down every year and camp right there at the Persimmon Hill campground. I don't know much about the surrounding area cause we camp but I would think Batesville would be a good place to look.
