My favorite quiver is the Kwikee Kwiver. Easy off and easy on and with the same bracket you can put on a 3, 4, or 6 arrow quiver. My favorite Kwikee Kwiver is my Bear Archery three arrow one. :)

2x that Ken. All I use anymore. Even have a mount on my bowhunting backpack and normally carry my arrows that way.

The first time I ever seen leather over the hood was on Barry Wensel's kwikee kwiver.

Where does one get an arrow gripper for smaller shafts like 1816's and skinny carbons?

Personally, I really never cared for them. "For me" they made any bow I put one on, Compound and Traditional, feel top heavy and of of balance. They felt like they just sat to high on the bow. DANNY

My go to quiver too.

I pick them up at pawn shops dirt cheap. For a long time I could get them for $1. Just look in the hood to determine how much use they have seen. Sadly that is the only way to get them now.

Been using one since Jerry Simmons came out with his hip quiver back in the 80s, the Kwikee is fitted to a slide-in thin plywood shaped to the pocket, been very practical.

The quiver goes wherever you mount the bracket. Not too difficult to balance on most bows. Just squeeze the bracket to release. I personally don't care for my arrows being on the bow when hunting in a stand. I like bright feathers to watch the flight but feel they attract attention moving around for the shot. In a lock on stand or tree I remove it & hang it on the stand or on the tree just behind my shoulder. >>-----> Ken

Kwikee's are excellent quivers in my opinion.

I started with a Kwikee but found them too noisy. I won't hunt with anything but Selway now. These NC deer are wired and if your bow is too loud, they can pull a "Matrix" and dodge the arrow or worse, result in a poor hit. But of course, to each his own.

I feel bow quivers upset the balance of the bow when I shoot. I prefer a side quiver made by Steven Catts that I have used for years.

I would think that everyone has probably at least one laying somewhere in the basement. I mounted my old one on my Walthrop chair.

Over the years, the Kwikee Kwiver was improved. Better material in the rubber grippers held arrows more securely & the addition of the screw knob tightened and quieted the quiver on the bow mount bracket. Sadly, the company has gone out of business.

The older Kwikee Kwiver's didn't have a tension screw but the newer Kwikee Kwivers have a tension screw to keep them quiet. You can see the knob of the tension screw between my arrows. I added tension screws to my older Kwikee Kwivers.

I don't care to have anything hanging on my bow. I have never used any kind of bow quiver. I will stick to my Side Stalker for hunting purposes. It gives me plenty of options for wearing and hanging.

I use mine on my ILF hunting bow. I bought an extra one years ago, now I’m glad I did.

Ken, I love the leather hoods. I’m assuming that’s your handiwork. Does it help with the hollow sound that you get when shoot with it on the bow?

Yes but I don't know about the sound. I prefer a foam insert rather than the rubber inserts in them. I think that takes care of the sound. >>>-----> Ken

i have one i put a strap on and use it as a back quiver.

might make the purist cringe but it works well and i can put it down in my pack if i want, when using a pack.

How can you mount a quiver on the new Bear Super Kodiak recurves?

I have a Safari Tuff, bought it for hunting and carry it in on my tree stand, If I shoot a deer, I get down and put it on, grab my bow to begin tracking. Now the VA made a custom brace for my back and I need it for 3 D. It comes with two pouches which are quite handy for stuff I might need.

For those of you looking to mount a Kwikee or other quiver to a bow without the bushings, 3Rivers sells a product called the Bow Wart. Allows you to mount a quiver without drilling holes in your bow.

Like bow quivers but don't want to drill holes in my custom recurves. But don't like slip on ones that keep sliding apart.

In the "beginning" Kwikee was almost all that was available. Since then I have tried almost all bow quivers, and keep going back to the Selway. The takedown model is solid as a rock. The slide on tightens up nicely and I have never had one of them slide or pull apart. To each his own, but for me its selway, and I have one for each bow. Stay safe guys.

Hard to beat a kwikee quiver but I have most of what is available. I love them on my b mag.
