Yep, I got one of those hats. Always loved the Jones style hats.

Me too. Just showed up the other day. I'd call it a medium to heavy weight hat. Probably best from Fall through early Spring for me. Maybe not a true winter hat for some of you guys but down here in the desert this will do for the coldest we get. Pretty heavy duty and shaped nicely. Has a plastic brim in the front to keep the shape. As mentioned the flaps can be folded down. The inside of the hat is hunter orange. This is a Mollyjogger hat. Unfortunately made overseas, but still pretty nice. It's no Boxcall hat though.

I’d like a new one as they’re great walk around woods hats. My old ones are pretty much toast. I’ll have to think about how much one would shrink to become tight on my giant head should I finally have to wash it, as much as I avoid the prospect.

Love that pattern; I think all of the old Sears or Duxbak versions I had eventually shrank and no longer fit. Might look into an XL...

Nice looking lid! I may have to look in to getting one myself. I’m with hats like a woman is with shoes...I can never have too many and I love em all lol

COOL - that looks exactly like my first hunting’s hat. I don’t know the proper year of manufacture, but I wore one of those in very early 80’s.

I wish I could get one without the flaps and maybe lighter cotton to be more suitable for warmer weather.

When I was a kid 40 years ago my brother had one that was old then that was made of a tight knit softer cotton(as opposed to canvas) - I always wish i could find something like it.

You can cut the flaps off

My Jones hat of the 70's had foam inside it that fell apart. This Mollyjogger is hot in warmer weather, but is still very nostalgic. Herb
