There's nothing like launching heavy woods off a Dacron laced Grayling Griz and I'm so happy I just hung onto these hardrock maples I made up from Forrester shafts...

At 28" from center of nock to BOP and spined 60#s with 160gr points they are flying like darts and must be doing at least 140fps off this 58"/45# Griz! LOL!

Nice, but I would consider landing a 22" native brown trout, on a #14 Adams ranks right up there. ;)

Great looking arrows but love the bow as well.I have a 1966 Grizzly which is my go to bow.

That is a nice looking bow. I really like the gloss, like my old Kodiak hunter, has the WOW factor. This new Bear TD is nice, but the dull black finish is nothing to look at for me.

Nice shooting, some good looking arrows too.

Jinks, I shot a Pennsylvania deer with a tapered maple shaft weighing right at 600 grains. A razor sharp Ribtek was epoxied to the front end. That arrow zipped through that deer like going through wet newspaper, after hitting a rib going in and right leg bone going out. I was pulling around 51 pounds. The shafts spined 50- 55.

Nice group and nice arrows. Might have to look into getting some Maple shafts when I get my new LB. I know from experience they can take my abuse.

Yep. Not only do they work well on the target range and on critters, they're deadly on engine blocks as well. :>)

Awe Jinkster you could shoot a tree limb strung with bailing twine. ;^) >>>---> Ken

2 bears...with that “X” on the Bach of that 45?...it feels like a tree limb strung with baling twine! LOL!!!

Not really but I was expecting 47 1/2-48# on my Weston scale...The bad news is I only shoot two arrows at a time and only about three times before I take a break for a while and then go back out a half an hour later and shoot another six arrows the good news is?...With STOS 160 grain broadheads I’m pretty sure this little grizzly is more than capable of killing anything on the North American continent. LOL! :)

Should read “I WAS’T EXPECTING”

I shoot heavy woods all the time. Love the sound when they hit the target.....WAM! Frank

Yeah Frank... I noticed that these heavy hard rock maples are hitting my bales with a very pronounced thump. :)
