Another gem from the master bowyer for selfbows. Specs = LH, 72" between nocks, 40# @ 27" (yeah, light - but still has great cast!) and best ... hits where aimed!

Wood arrows only of course ... shot off the hand with feathers tied on in the English manner, complete with faux verdigris sparkle green paint under the fletching.

Only 3-weeks from order to shooting - one cannot beat that! 'Finally' owning a bow from the hands of the master?

Priceless!

John's been at it a long time so he has the expertise. Pretty bow.

That top limb looks a bit hinged .... maybe it's just me

I own 5 different models of John’s bows. But, I forgot he makes an ELB. Hmmm

I have one that John gave me in the mid 80's after I took him pig hunting in California's north coast, its absolutely beautiful, but 80#@ 26" I can't shoot it any longer.

Very cool. Nothing better than Yew with horn nocks

That's a nice looking bow.

Phil, I see what you're saying, but without an unbraced picture, we can't make an honest assessment. It's possible it's naturally deflexed in that area at rest and the tiller is spot on.

Jeff nailed it ...

How could anyone ever question if John Strunk would send out a bow with a hinge? That would be akin to asking if the English used compounds at Agincout! Heresy I say, heresy!

OK but from that photograph that top limb doesn't look right... and I don't care who made it.

Beautiful ELB!
