Any help on this bow? I think it is a Ben Pearson 2nd, but I am not sure. The only mark is an "S" stamped in the side. I scaled it and it is 60#. 68"

Maybe an early Browning Explorer?

I was thinking Browning Mustang maybe a Colt

Pearson made the Mustang and Stallion, and Colt. How long is it? The Colt was 62" and had no tip overlays. The Stallion was either 64", and the Mustang of that design was 60".

Looks close to a old Bear Polar

OP said it was 68”. That is not a Browning...could be a Pearson but the length is a puzzler. If it was 60” I would say it’s a BP Mustang.

Also very odd that it’s a 68” bow with a 60# draw.

Would like to see the whole bow and how it was measured.

I think Ben Pearson marked their bow with an S stamp when they were not quite up to specifications. I think it is a Ben Pearson Mustang.

More pics would help but I’m leaning with the Pearson sayers

Definitely a Pearson. Maybe a Stallion? Mine was 62" but maybe they made them longer.

Pinto maybe?

Does it have any writing or anything left on it?

The S didn't necessarily mean second, it normally was there for Special series that was sold through some distributors. Not saying they weren't cosmetic blems though. They also had a Sovereign line that had an imbedded S in the lower riser.

Javelina is 66”

Could be a Javelina, but mine has a much more reflexed riser.
