Warrick made me another longbow, a Crowned Eagle, his flagship. This one features amboyna burl veneers on the back and sumauma veneers on the belly, over bamboo limbs. The handle is wenge and the horn accent and tips are oryx. It came out to 48#. 60" AMO. And boy does it shoot!

Got home from being at work in the mountains last evening and I knew this bow was waiting on me. Kissed the wife on the way in the door and tore open the box, strung it as it sat with no regard for brace height or tune and stepped outside with no nock and let two go at about 12 yards in a crazy spring New Mexico crosswind. Put em both in the same hole. I think this bow is gonna be another winner from Harvey Archery.

His 60” smooth to 30” draw? And does he build longer ? Thanks much

Man Paul, He has some of the nicest woods in the bow making world. Always Highly figured. The amboyna Burl is beautiful

Beautiful bow! Congrats!

Adam,

Warrick is 6'7" with a 32" draw himself. He builds his bows for his style of shooting and swears they will not stack to 36". 60" is as long as he builds. He has been futzing with it a long time and arrived at this length through trial and error.

Thank You , and that’s a beauty !!!

Sorry, have to ask, is the whole transaction pretty smooth from us over here from him in South Africa , only askin, I’ve never dealt with a bowyer that far away (lol) Thanks Again

Very very smooth. We always deal in PayPal. He is super easy to deal with and will start your bow with $50 deposit. He builds quite quickly, surprisingly quickly actually, and once finished uses FedEx to ship and the bows are to me in two weeks or less. Contact me if you are interested in having him make you one and I can put you in touch. If you are on Facebook just look up Harvey Archery and contact him yourself. He's a great guy and has become a dear friend.

Wow! That is one beautiful bow. Those veneers are stunning. Good luck with it, Crow.

He is amazing to deal with. The best is give him an idea of the woods and horns you like and turn him loose giving him artistic license. I had 2 bows from him in 30 days. From order time to my door.

Wow! She is a keeper for sure! I don't need another bow, I don't need another bow....... I may have to make an exception

That is some nice figure in that Wenge riser.

It looks like the bow shoots high.

It seems that a lot of the bows I build have the same problem.

It is a very nice looking bow.

Bow actually shoots right where I'm looking after a bit if a tune and tying on a nock(above first shots were with no nock at all). Two shots at sundown aiming for the push pin in the crazy spring New Mexico wind. About 20 yards.

I couldn't even see the push pin. Not enough light. I just knew where it was. This bow is another fine shooter from Warrick Harvey, that's for sure.
