Anyone string walk with a 59 Kodiak. Just wondering how that bow handles the crawl. I have a pretty small crawl so I don't see any real problem but I would appreciate any input.

I wouldn't stringwalk a 60" bow unless I have a 25" DL

I stringwalk a bunch of bows including a 52" Pearson. There is one that makes an awful noise though, so I stopped walking with that one. Viper commented that yes, the limbs will be out of synchronization, but the bow ought to be built for it. So far, so good.

It should be no problem for a fixed crawl.

I’m shooting 4 recurves from 52” -62” with a 7/8” crawl. All shoot great, especially the 60” Bear takedown and 52” Bear KM

Why not ? I would prefer a fixed crawl though.

I have a 62" takedown that is quiet shooting with about 1/2" crawl and a S.K. that is 60" and is noisier with the same crawl. I am wondering if it is the difference between the 60" and 62" length or if it is just that the Super Kodiak is more sensitive to the crawl. That is why I posted the question.

It's not the length, it's the particular bow, and not all Super K's would be that way. This is a sport full of dynamics, and you simply find what works for you, and that my not work for the next guy.
