I recently reshaped the grip on a toxocraft 3 piece bow. It had fake skins on the limbs. I wasnt crazy about them so I pealed them off. They left a white residue that would not come off of the carbon back. I tried a few products but nothing worked. I had one last set of broad banded water snake skins that would just fit. I taped the limbs up to keep the glue cleanup to a minimum. The limbs have a washer glued to the back. I found a metal washer the same diameter and used it to cut a perfect fit hole. I used TB3 to glue them down. I've skinned a lot of selfbows but this is the first time I've tried it on a glass bow. I'm hoping to get it finished in time for tradfest.
