I have no wood experience but previous posts on this site recommend DUCO CEMENT with wood shafts. search DUCO on this site.Good Luck

I used sanders npv on my bamboos with wipe on.

I use Bohning Fletch Tite. I tried Duco a few times and feathers where flyin off way too often. I shoot POC and DF wood shafts with based Poly.

It really depends on the finish that you use. That makes the difference, wether it it sticks. JF

Duco is best used on arrows that have a lacquer finish on them.
I personally use regular old contact cement a majority of the time.

Yup, that's why I lost my feathers...water based finish.

I use NPV glue on all the shafts I put waterbased Polycrillic on and that includes a couple coats over my cresting of wraps. I do paint the caps on woods. I have also used Bohning fletch Tite on it with no ill effects.

Duco for lacquer, fletchtite for acrylic.
