Thumper- don't have any pictures but they are a nice looking arrow and very good straightness

made a bunch of them for my shooting buddy (neat color)

I shoot a lot of 2016 and tend to go with the Jazz and tributes (more cost effective(Cheap)) and I can't shoot the difference in straightness -the Jazz and Tributes are cheap enough to loose and not feel bad about it

Could see the psychological advantage if made up a Dozen for hunting points -but I use wood for hunting

They're the same shaft as the Hunter, except dull silver in color. Not sure if they come with inserts and nocks included.

In 2016 I'm fine with the black Gamegetters, a bit cheaper and not quite the same straightness tolerance.

Thumper, I fletched up some, I really like them. The color reminds me more of the vintage a luminum shafts from years ago. I dont think you'll be dissapointed.

I think they sell them without inserts because a lot of people like to use them with nibbs... and they probably sell them without nocks so that people can use whatever it is that they prefer, since it is a Target Shaft, so to speak…

It’s actually a really well thought out product line when you get down to it… They seem to know their customers and their preferences pretty well…

You would almost think they had done all this before!

I got a deal on feathers so I'm going a little crazy. gunr

I made up a half dozen some years ago with a white crown dip, blue and purple feathers, they definitely stood out at the 3D shoots.

You can definitely make a handsome arrow out of them.

As a bonus they may be available in sizes not common to other Easton lines. I wanted a lighter alternative to the 2018's I was shooting at the time, so I went with 2115's in Platinum.

I have what’s left of a doz 2114’s that I have rebuilt a couple times already. I have white wrap with one white feather and two blue. White nock. I crested the wrap with blue and silver. Blue is not a natural color here in the desert so they do show up when one has a mind of its own. In their past life I used red wraps with red and grey feather. Looked cool but hard to find in woods up north.

Thanks Thumper, I fashioned a cresting machine from an old sewing machine motor and some skate bearings. I'm working on adding a feather burner made with a Lionel train transformer to the platform to burn turkey feathers with. I just retired and have more time than I ever had to tinker. gunr

You will have to buy inserts and "G" nocks. The nocks come in two sizes for the throat Large and small. I find the small are for 14 strand string and under and the large for 16 strand and above. Beware it depends on the serving size used on the string.

For swage nock end Tribute looks good. Rooty

One advantage to the Platinums is they take the Easton G Nocks, which as pointed out earlier come in small throat .88 and large throat .98 I serve to fit the large throat and as my servings wear I then can pull out the large throat and pop in small throat before I have to bother reserving my string.

I like the swage end Tributes as well. Push in nocks can be a pain to remove.

I like the swage nocks too. I been using the Legacys and Jazz shafts. I`m gonna try the Tributes.

Flowter I would for sure replace the serving before I changed all my arrow nocks. Doesnt take 5 minutes. I`ll replace my serving if it just looks dirty.

“ I been using the Legacys and Jazz shafts. I`m gonna try the Tributes.”

The Tribute and the Jazz really differ ONLY in the finish, except the Jazz may be sold without inserts for the same reason that the Platinum are.

Legacies are higher quality aluminum, and they will hold up a lot better... but they do cost more. They come in more sizes, too…

I like the platinum plus shafts. Have a few dozen 2016s and 1916s, shafts and fletched arrows(sorry, no pics now). I may be fletching some more in the near future, though. Doesn't the gray color bring to mind the old Dougherty naturals? As for nocks, the 2016s came with super uni bushings (super nocks),the 1916 may have uni bushings (g nocks)...I can't recall now. A darn good shaft for the cost, either on the range or in the field.
