Getting tired and too many things on the mind don’t help, I know

Homey Even a 300 hitter misses 7 out of ten times at bat. Rest a day, it'll pick up.

Me to homey. We all have those days.Do something else for a day.We want to keep going and get our shooting in line but thats where we sometimes take on bad habits. It will get better.

What Nemophilist said, get it ingrained and it will become...may I say...instinctive to you. :) Enjoy and don't get down on yourself about it. I shot really well this evening but only took four shots and that was with a 54# bow...pulling 51# of it. Just came in from a long walk just out the side door to the neighbor's farm, across the road....up the hill and along the top of that wood's edge and back to the house. Looking for whistle pig sign. First three shots were right on the money at a leaf size target about thirty yards....last one was a few inches low. Wasn't even thinking and that helps too. :) Some days though...you know.

I can shoot a bullseye every time at 100 yards with my rifle and a scope. I can shoot a the bullseye at 50 yards with a crossbow and sight every time. But shooting my bow instinctively ay 25 yards I have good days and bad. Can’t figure it out

Don't just practice more, practice better form more.

What Tomas said. Try to practice with form in mind with not so much emphasis on groups. I had a bad day myself today, and that at only 12 yards! Some days we just are off. Probably something bothering us we can't name. All of us have those days. Tomorrow you will be splitting shafts because your previous shot hogged up the bullseye.

The fox said, "some days chickens, some days feathers." But the fox wasn't too skinny when he said it!:)
