Well. If you recall, I had built a 2 pc quiver out of a junction box and some metal pieces from a joist hanger. Some folks thought it was a little low rent. Here's proof you CAN take that sow's ear and make it special. All painted up after coating with bedliner.

Looks fine to me, but they will talk about you at the club when you aren't there. "Poor guy, can't afford those hundred dollar quivers so he has to make one." Good job says I. :)

Pretty slick.

Wouldn't be difficult to cover the hood with leather and fancy it up even more if you were of a mind to.

Good. Let them talk. I will take that hundred bucks and put it into carbon arrowshafts or something else I can't build. As for me...it works exactly the same as the big name 2 piece quivers. It's silent and cannot rattle or come loose. It holds 3 or 4 arrows no sweat. And it doesn't change my point of impact because it is so close to the riser. So actually, it is mechanically superior to many commercial designs. Admittedly, the commercial designs are prettier. But I paid 15 bucks. Not bad!

Total Blue Collar, thumbs up. Love it! John

Thanks to those who "get it." I have always admired those who did things for themselves and didn't let a lack of folding green slow them down.

Good job, I like it! Lance

great!!! and just remember the guys laughing at the club probably couldn't figure out how to make one.

That’s gettin it done. Good job. What kinda foam did you put in there? I bet a pool noodle would work great.

From: Yellah Nocks
Date: 26-Mar-21

Pool noodle can work. I have a 2 foot by 6 inch thick by 1 foot wide piece I got from a guy who had off cuts he was TOSSING! I shoulda grabbed more. It's some kind of densite foam used in automotive or aerospace apps. Far superior to any foam I have ever seen. STILL kicking myself for not taking more. It was FREE! I will post arrow pics tomorrow. Don't want to wake the wifey.

Great way to save some bucks. Saw an article years ago where the author used a coffee can to make a quiver hood.

I find Mainers to be basically geniuses at all things; this is no surprise to me.

Born and raised in New Jersey before it went to the dogs. I credit my polish grandpa for inventiveness, my arabic dad for sheer moxie, and the italian neighborhood that taught me how to bury stuff very very quickly(lol).
