I have a hybrid longbow that is cut 1/8" past center. It is 40# at 28" and my draw is 29.5". what spine wooden arrow should it shoot well with the arrow cut to 30" and a 125 grain field point?

FYI, the 3Rivers spine charts have worked well for me with wood arrows!
You don't say if using a FF string or not, but for those specs a bow weight of 36-40 for a 30" arrows (125-grn tip) shows a spine of 45-50, going up to 50-55 for an increased bow weight of 41-45.
I would surmise w/ a FF string to err towards the spine range of 50-55. That concept too has worked for me and other spine charts, e.g., True Shaft et al, also advise adding %3 to calculator when using a FF string.

Assume you also have a low stretch string. 55#-60# should do it.

Typo in my previous response, should read as "Add 5-pounds to bow weight for a FF string" or to that effect.

So how far the bow is cut past center is irrelevant. The centershot measurement the way the bow is set up to shoot is all that matters.
30" arrow, the draw weight at your draw length will be ABOUT 43lbs. with a 125gr. point. That would indicate a shaft in the 50-54lb. spine range. (43lb. actual draw weight plus 5lbs. of added draw weight for every inch of arrow length over 28" = 10 additional pounds, so 50-54lbs.) If you have a low stretch string you may want to add 5lbs. as Orion indicated to get you to the 55-60lb. spine range.

FDP I allow +5 for past center cut seems to work for me. I would start at 31 inch arrow to tune. you can take off as needed.

IF the bow is actually set up past center than that is absolutely right Rick. IF the bow is built past center but the site window is built out 1/8' before center (which is more common than you would think) then it isn't. Like you said though depending on what is used on the site window you may indeed be able to increase centershot.
But, that being said, contrary to what many think no bow is confined to shooting one spine group of arrows well whether it is a self bow with no centershot or an ILF bow with a well past center riser.
Personally I start tuning every bow with nothing on the site window. That way I am getting the maximum dynamic spine reaction for that particular bow. I hope that the arrows that I choose are a little weak, and I can move the centershot out to bring them in line.

I found the chart Rick posted was very useful for my heavy-ish draw weight and 160-250 grain broadheads.

I also shoot 28.5-29.5" arrows.

55/60 is what i would use.. Better to have a little more spine than not enough..

Probably with a little effort you could shoot several spines from it just by adjusting point weight between 100 to 160.
