I talked my nephew into going to the Tn classic with me.

He’s only been shooting fir a couple weeks and I need to get him a dozen arrows.

I figure he’s going to lose a few at the shoot. Heck I usually lose a few myself.

Who’s got the best price on a dozen budget 600 spine carbons?

Best I have found is black eagle outlaws tad over $100

Gold Tip warriors.

Look harder.

Warriors are $5 each for shafts, and easily footed with 2117; Victory Ares come fletched w/ 3” feathers (29”, 500 spine) are the same price.

I would just go to your website of choice, and sort their arrow inventory by a price low to high until you find something that works for you. Plenty of good options out there, especially if you’re not too picky about the cosmetics

Take a look at Fleetwood carbons. $50/6 fletched with inserts and points. Extra inserts come with them if you need to cut them down.

Walmart. Two years ago I bought most of they had left over for .50 cents each. Even at full price I think smaller diameter arrows are $3.50 each.

I did that too Jon, but i didn't get that great price..i stripped off the vanes and feathered up, they shoot great

This was at a Walmart in Texas when I wad there for a month.

Another thought is you walk in and buy them and they are ready to shoot. No USPS long waits or postage costs.

2nd the gold tip warriors, at least as far as shafts. I havent bought them fletched,

These are $75/dozen (shafts), use 'standard' .245 components. They come with 'compound' style nocks, which I usually trade out for 'S' or 'Super' nocks, but for 30-under that isn't necessary.

And look at the 'youth arrows' page at 3 Rivers

20-40 carbon express predator 2. As cheap as aluminum , fly nice with less weight for lighter bows.

Check out Amazon, some good arrows for under $40.00 a dozen.

Or, is someone could fletch them for you, there is an eBay Seller by the name of 'widow53' (and on Facebook under the name 'Adrian H')that sells arrows from the same factory as the 'Dark Timber' shafts (by Big Jims Archery) for only $60 shipped.

I find them to be a superior shaft to any Gold Tip arrow or shaft.

Jazz aluminum shafts from Lancaster like $32/doz 1716 easy to assemble and cheap enough to loose

I use the heck out of the 2016 size for 3-D

Appreciate the info.

What spine does he need?

Big Jim's Dark Timber best bang for your buck!!

If glue in points ok- Black Eagle Intrepid, $5.67 per at Lancaster, fletched and includes both glue in points and insert nocks. Hard to beat that price. Itty bitty things, and itty bitty vanes.

Going to set him up with 600 spine. He probably needs a weaker but I built him 3 600 with 50 gr insert and 145 point and he’s shooting good with them.

I have beman centershot fletched arrows for $80 per dz in 600s and 340s. Centershots are a high quality, very durable arrow by easton.

These are prefletched with 4" parabolic from the factory. They also come in 6 packs.

They haven't been listed on our site yet, but send us an email at [email protected] and we can help you out.

Thanks, bigJim.

Well bummer. I have some spare 500's.

From: Darryl/Deni

I have to go with Andy on the Jazz shaft. A much better cheap arrow than many suspect I think . If I was going the carbon route try the centershots.
