Well, I splurged and bought some pretty nice 3D targets. I typically just have one and I set it up close to my shop. I decided a couple weeks ago that I would like to have a range in my woods, it would make shooting more realistic to hunting situations and be shaded and therefore cooler in the summer. What I did not anticipate was how much my boys would like it. They were ready to shoot as soon as we got it set up. In my mind it was money well spent after seeing how much they loved it!

It really was a good time and had the whole family involved so definitely a win. I love archery and really love that my family does. Plus the wife is wanting a stickbow now. She has had a compound and has hunted with and taken deer with it. Never a stick, super excited about that.

Thank you Monkeyball, that is exactly how I feel. They dont really care where they hit the target and thats fine as long as they are shooting. I will get them there as far as accuracy goes as time goes on. if they want to shoot eventually they will want to shoot better. My hopes anyway.

I am not really sure why my screen name keeps reverting back to my old one. I was BR for years but changed to Arrowbuster recently and it keeps doing both.

Are you posting from 2 different sources? Maybe your original laptop or phone is still posting as BR?

Can I stop by an flight a few?

From: George D. Stout

That is wonderful. Boys generally take to flinging arrows pretty naturally, and with dad it's a bonus.

Wudstix, you sure can, the more the merrier.

That's what it's all about. Do I see twins there or is one brother simply the spittin' image of the other, lol. Good lookin' boys.

Shortly after I retired in 2010 when my grand kids were that age I had numerous targets in the back yard and we liked to go to trad 3d shoots, some of best memories I have.

Sure is money well spent. Nice to see the kids enjoying archery. Jawge

Altek, yes they are twins. And most definitely partners in mischief. Exactly why I have to keep them occupied. There really is no end to what they will get into.
