What spine would i need for a 27.5" arrow with feathers for a shelfless horsebow?

45lbs. If you are going to shoot with a thumb release you can typically get away with a stiffer arrow, but I wouldn't to start but if this your first experience I wouldn't.

Would knowing the thickness at the arrow pass be of help determining spine? Half would be distance before center.
I have a 35#er with D97 string that shoots 40-44, 5/16 Sitka spruce really well. They are 29" to back of 145gr field point.

I'm no help, N.C. has no open season on horses. I'm sorry...that just slipped out...couldn't resist...never mind...nobody needs to call PETA...

I have a Toth tatar that is 44lbs at 28", I draw it 29" because it won't go to my thirty and it likes a 700 carbon with 150s 30" b.o.p. took alot of playing around to find what shot best.
