I spoke with Linda Graham yesterday. She will be working with James Parker to continue the business that Linda and Ben started. That's great news for those of us who treasure those Hummingbird bows. James is an accomplished bowyer and knapper. I can't wait to see the first ones,

That’s great news! I hunt a friend’s small farm near their shop. I had a Kingfisher recurve that was a great shooter, but I sold it when I got more into longbows. Hummingbirds were well crafted, beautiful bows. Glad to hear Lynda is keeping the tradition going...

They are planning on going to an event in June, so they are planning on having some inventory by then.

Wow, striking color there 'joe vt', would that be a reddish coco bolo?

If you want to get confused with 'Rosewoods', research it :)

I was told when I bought this longbow, it was Bolivian Rosewood. And yes, it is reddish brown in color.

James Parker is one heck of a talented knapper and bowyer. He really knows his stuff and has always been very willing to share his knowledge with others. I have learned a lot from him over the years. This is great news!

So glad to hear this. Benwas a nice guys, I have a Hummingbird recurve and I love it. I hope they come to Compton this summer.

Always read that they were excellent bows.

Linda said that Compton would probably be the first event for them. '

Yes, James doesn't seem to mind sharing his knowledge. He is a master at knapping rhyolite.

Had a Alpha Male LB , loved that bow . Was just a tad heavy. I am in if offered in the lineup and the same as before.

This would be awesome. Is Compton’s going to go for sure?

James Parker is amazingly talented. His depth of knowledge in traditional and primitive archery is astounding. Best wishes to all involved.

I met Linda and Ben at the Lofton Classic in the mid 90's. Very nice folks, and beautiful bows. I've never owned one of their bows, but have encountered many people shooting them, and have never heard a negative statement about them. I hope and pray this new business venture will be a success.

Bringing this topic back up to see if anyone has an update. I left a voicemail, but haven't heard back. Which was not the case previously. If anyone has another contact number or whatever please let me know. I just used the number that has been on their website. I hope all is well for Linda and Hummingbird bows. Thanks for any additional information.

Cody, I talked with Linda this past weekend and she told me that she would like people to deal directly with James when ordering a bow. His phone number is 229-310-5778. I hope this helps you out and have a Merry Christmas. God bless, Scott.

I am still looking for a 38-40# hummingbird recurve. If I ever get down to only one bow, I want it to be a Hummingbird.
