I'm thinking if trying a homemade side quiver made from an old bow quiver. I'm wondering if you have tried that and if you liked it. What did you use for a strap and for attachments? Can you post pics please?

I've used an old bear 8 arrow quiver as a side quiver. Just thread a belt through the quiver and go, if you don't like it that way make a strap.

I made one from my newer Bear quiver which is same as the Asbell quiver. I took off the thumb screws and used the holes to attach a nylon strap. Personally I like it, light weight, easy to maneuver, easy to remove if your in an ambush hide. I do carry in my pocket a waterproof bag to cover fletch if I get caught in rain.

made one from a black widow bow quiver, put leather shoulder strap on it , holds 7 arrows hangs by my right side perfectly. very handy!

Here you go. There is a loop for a belt to slide thru.

Not sure if this is the style of sidequiver you were looking for. Its handy and pretty easy to put together.

I used a Selway strap on quiver that I didn't like at all to make a side quiver that has been my go to for the last 20+ hunts. Just took off the rubber grippers and attached to a piece of wood, then used a metal hook from a Neet hip quiver to make a belt hook.

An old Sidewinder bow quiver with aluminum reinforcement between the leather to keep it steady.

In the 1980s the local archery shop sold the quivers under the name Sidewinder, but I don't know what company made them. They are not Kwikee Kwivers.

Here's one in original form. I did add the leather strip to both hoods for a bit more protection from broadheads.

I just traded a side mount great northern. Before the trade I used a nylon strap connected to it for a side quiver. Worked pretty well. Sorry no picture. Be safe. Mark

Therifleman: I hope you don't have a copyright (or good patent lawyers), because I am going to shamelessly copy that side quiver. Thanks for posting that pic.

Here are two more. The plains style quiver on top was made by a member of the Longbow association and given to me as a gift by tkyelp who posts on here once in awhile.

The bottom quiver is all wood, red cedar I believe, and was given to me by a buddy.

Use a Bear 4 Arrow Quiver. Lower tab: Cut the lower bracket so it sticks out about 3/4" and mill a small slot. For the upper tab, cut a 3/4" piece off the remaining part of the bracket, mill a small slot and weld in place. For the strap, I use a small dog leash and cut to length.
