took alot of bagging with the wife.LOL was looking for two weeks at bows and could not find what I wanted. so bought a widow SAB from footed shaft, wife said thats all she didnt want to here anymore about bows! then the John strunk pop up LOL. pic of widow

figure if i need lower poundage i will get gray bark and some black bedliner in a can LOL

Bigdog, seen some of those black Widows that the owners took off the black. You'd be surprised what a beauty was underneath.

yes Alan you are so right. my firs widow was MAB and grey under it looked good , and when a friend seen mine he decided to strip his nice grey bark limbs and a autumn oak riser. this one will stay Black they are hard to find in black.

The black ones like the mb was an ma with black epoxy finish. It was cheaper because the black epoxy covers scratches so the hand work on finish is alot less involved. When they came out with the graybark and autumn oak MA's they made several prototypes to deside what colors to use. I bought the MB's that were thee prototypes painted black and sold em in my shop.(I was a widow dealer back then). Anyhow a could friends bought 2 of em and stripped the eblack. One of em was nice, the other was the best looking black widow I had ever seen. Sorry for straying. BTW gorgeous longbow.
