I read some of Larry's blog about Bear bows and he indicated that the 1950 Bear Polar had aluminum lams and was wondering if the 1950 Bear Polar was a dual shelf bow with the aluminum lams? Had both, dual shelf and aluminum lams.

Maybe if Larry reads this he can let me know or if anyone else has positive info on this I would appreciate the info.

Hey Jon, I found this in a search-

http://www.tradrag.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2635

"The Polar was introduced in 1950 as a 62" sinple reflexed longbow with the woven glass and the aluminum lam (with and w/o a wood lam over it). Wedged leather shelf with a straight grip."
