Its just around the corner. My first year being retired. I'm hoping to stay a couple days or more so I can hunt and take a afternoon siesta eat something and go back at it.I keep invisioning.Me in a brush blind with camp material across the front eating a sandwitch when movement catches my eye and I see a big ole boy sneaking through the woods. Up comes the gun and bottom. Yeah baby.lol

I think I went twice last year. So many people out hunting from the roads you couldn't even drive around them on the WMA. Found a smaller no name WMA just down the road this past deer season, may have to try it a few times. Can squirrel hunt until the end of February so more scouting to do.

Since I am recently retired, I will have a lot more time to hunt turkeys, if we have any. Some years, they just seem to vanish. I saw some opening week of bow season but since they they are not to be seen. Some years we are covered up and other years nothing. Really looking forward to the season this year.
