Thanks Chad, good morning 1st shooters, shots as called, a little muggy and cool today, maybe some rain. We always need rain! Y'all have a good day and stay safe!
I knew I couldn't repeat yesterdays so I hung a tennis ball and hit it at the 25 yard mark the other two warmed me up for it.
The arrow didn't penetrate the ball, but drove it into the bail I pointed to where the arrow hit.
Have a great day everyone,
I am pulling that 60 lb bow with authority, when I first started I was short drawing it now the full draw.
when I first started to use it my cheeks would turn red and I looked like I was in extreme pain, my eyeballs would pop out, now I am doing much better. I think I had better stay with it....Ha!Ha!
Hahaha. I meant heat. My phone likes to decide what I have typed for me.
Snowing like all get out here. Just came down off the mountain. Shooting my Harvey Archery Ferret 50"52# recurve the 15 is the barred fletch 700gr doug fir, the 20 is a 650gr chundoo right beside it and the 25 is the low chundoo. Now balls were harmed in the shooting if these arrows.
Still getting reacquainted with my 54# Martin Hunter. 2117 Easton Legacy arrows. Shot as called, but don’t remember which hit where. Thanks for playing everyone.
Thanks Chad for the call. I shot a Yew ELB, 75” NtoN and 47#, with house made cedar arrows that spine 50-55 and weigh in between 490-500gr. !5yd is left, 20yd on the right, and I split the difference with the 25yd but higher! Not too bad for a shooting combo with a 70 year old archer and a bow that’s older than I am! Have a good day! Lance
I've explained it a few times, but here goes again. Had it since I first got on the internet. Across many forums.
Firbolg were an ancient race from the mythical period of Ireland (I'm not Irish) they got the name from being enslaved by the Thracians and forced to carry dirt in bags from the valleys to the high terraces. Fir means men, Bolg means bag. Men of the Bags. The oldest known word for dirtbag.
I have been a BMX dirt jumper all of my life. Still do it at 54 actually. I have dug and built dirt jumps all of my life. Consequently I have been known as a Trail Boss at many trails, a guy that keeps the young uns and interloper adults in line. Have a reputation for not messing about when it comes to trail rules. Thus some of the kids would call me mean. Evil
